Brief
For this project, I created a brand identity and designed a logo for Birthmark, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about contraceptives and promoting informed reproductive health choices. The goal was to develop a brand identity that is educational, approachable, and empowering, reflecting the organization’s mission to provide accurate information and support.
Deliverables
Brand Concept Development
- Conducted research on contraceptive options and the importance of reproductive health education to inform the branding strategy.
- Developed a brand positioning statement and key messaging that emphasize education, empowerment, and accessibility.
Logo Design
- Created multiple logo concepts incorporating elements that symbolize reproductive health, such as circles and protective icons, using a friendly and approachable color palette.
- Focused on a design that conveys trust, support, and knowledge.
- Refined the selected logo concept based on feedback from peers and mentors to ensure it aligned with the organization’s mission.
Brand Identity System
- Developed a brand style guide including color palettes, typography, and imagery styles to ensure consistency in all brand materials.
- Designed additional brand assets such as business cards, brochures, and social media graphics to support the organization’s outreach and educational efforts.
Results
The project successfully delivered a comprehensive brand and logo design for Birthmark, providing a strong visual identity that supports the organization’s mission to raise awareness about contraceptives and promote informed reproductive health choices.
